Tragedy stuck Maiduguri as 11 persons died in a multiple bomb explosion which occurred yesterday.
NAN confirmed from a reliable source who preferred anonymity that the first and second explosion happened at about 9:45PM at Muliaikalmari. The explosion killed eight persons including the suicide bombers.
Also, three persons were killed and five injured after the third and fourth explosion which happened about 20 minutes later at Polo-Sabon Gari area of Maiduguri.
However, the wounded were rushed to Special hospital, Maiduguri for treatment and Vanguard noted that efforts made by the press to get confirmation from the police proved abortive as the command's public relations officer didn't respond to phone calls and text messages.
