UNIBEN bans campus fellowships

The University of Benin(UNIBEN) has banned fellowships and religious groups on campus with effect which started from 18th January, 2018.
In a memo released earlier, the decision was due to the unhealthy multiplicity of fellowships on campus and the use of lecture halls/classrooms/open fields for meetings on Sunday mornings.

However, some fellowships are not affected by the ban and the include:

1. Students Christain Movement?Christain Union -Nigerian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (NIFES) and Scripture Union Campus Fellowship
2. Nigeria Federation of Catholic Students
3. Muslim Students Society of Nigeria.
