UNIBEN students panic over school fees increment rumour

The information reaching the Students of the University of Benin about the increment of tuition fees from #12,400 to #35,000 is not to be taken to heart as it is not from a valid source.


The rumour about the institution planning to increase its school fees from #12,500 to #35,000 started early this month when some students were asking if the University's portal was opened for them to pay their school fees for the new session.

Some students have lamented that they have collected #12,400 from their sponsors as their school fees and do not know how to inform them back that the institution has increased its school fees.

However, a source who prefers anonymity says, "The institution has not increase its school fees. But,  if it will be increased, the returning students will not be affected".

He also urges students not to panic as there is no official release about the increment of the institution school fees.

Noblegblog gathered from another source that there is no official statement from the University about the increment of school fees.

Meanwhile, the Students are curious to get an official statement from the office of the institution's Public Relations Officer, in order to restore tranquility of the mind.
