Dad gets two years imprisonment for dangling baby from 15th floor window and writing on Facebook "1,000 likes or I'll drop him"'

A Court in Algerian has sentenced a man to two years imprisonment for dangling a little boy out of a  15th floor window in order to get 'likes' on facebook.



The man posted a picture of himself holding the boy out of a very high building with the caption " 1,000 likes or I will drop him".

The users of social media demanded the man arrest which was done Sunday and he was charged with endangering the child's life.

However, the man denied that he never took the child out of such building and that the picture had been altered by a social media user. According to him "the picture was taken in a balcony with protective barriers. These were removed".

The father of the child has pleaded with the Court, saying, that he was just playing a game.
