Kogi-Born Corps Member Sacrifices Allawee To Restore Hope To 50 Schools, Campuses And Communities in Kwara

Mr Voiceover

According to the popular assuim, "It is not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving". A perfect example is a selfless act demonstrated by a Kogi-Born corps member in Kwara State identified as Emmanuel Oluwasayomi Ahmadu, also known as Mr Voiceover, with state code KW/19B/2929,  who is sacrificing his monthly allowances towards tackling the menace of  depression and suicide act across 50 major high schools,  10 campuses, 16 communities, Mosques, Churches, IDPs and Orphanage homes as his personal community development service in Kwara State as a means of curbing the thriving problem which is most prevalent among adolescents and youths in the society and the world at large.

In review of the latest prognosis by World Health Organization, depression will rise to become the second (2nd) most prevailing health problem globally in 2020. Meanwhile, Emmanuel Oluwasayomi Ahmadu has taken it upon himself to profer solution to this problem by hosting and organizing sensitization conferences and symposiums in schools, campuses, communities, IDPs and orphanage homes, Mosques and Churches and many more on Mental Health Awareness And Sensitization Programme, focused on tackling the menace of depression and suicide prevalent among the adolescents and youths in Nigeria.

The Corps member who suffered depression and suicide thoughts and wrote o'level exam 17 times in 5 years, survived societal  pressures, failures and setbacks before securing admission into the University due to broken home and became an orphan at the verge of securing admission, yet did not give up, has been a global sensation and he is being celebrated for using his story to change the world.

Emmanuel, a graduate of University of Benin (UNIBEN), who recently got featured on one of the leading international television platforms in the world, British Broadcasting Commission (BBC) for his globally sensational story and impacts, shared on his Facebook timeline that he has no doubt in his heart that God orchestrated his story to pass a message of hope to this generation, especially to the adolescents and youths who are scared to face failures, societal pressures, and setbacks and are dying daily of suicide, hopelessness, anxiety, fustration, depression, which is leading them to indulge in societal vices which they assume is a solution.

PulseTV gathered that Emmanuel had earlier excecuted similar laudable projects using his entire University savings and allowances to host a Community Mental Health Sensitization Programme in Kabba Bunu local government area of Kogi State that provided free Mental health consultations and free mental health care for the community  dwellers, just two months to his NYSC Mobilization.

We believe in social impact advocacy and we encourage well meaning citizens, philantropists, government and relevant stakeholders and agencies in Nigeria and abroad to support Emmanuel's vision for local, national and global development, as what the world really needs is more love and less paper works.
