Workers stop mock UTME at OAU


Striking members of the Senior Staff Academic of Universities, the Non-Academic Staff Union and the National Academic of Educational Technologists at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, prevented candidates from sitting the mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination in the university on Monday.

A mistake you make on daily basis


Many of us know what articles are and appreciate their importance in English language. We know that the three articles we have are a, an and the. As we have discussed in this class on a number of occasions, while a and an are used to mark indefinite or yet-to-be-known nouns, the is used with definite ones. Hence, the first two are called indefinite articles while the is the definite.

The National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS), after their meeting held this morning, has resolved to 'Shut Down' academic activities in University of Benin for 3 days due to the rustication of some SUG Excos by the Senate last week.
